Synopsis:
In this intimate two-character play -- a new work in progress by E. M. Lewis -- Zan is forced to choose between community service and juvenile detention after a violent incident in his high school. He picks community service. But when he's assigned to read to Dorothy, a librarian who has just entered hospice care, neither of them is sure he's made the right decision. Between difficult conversations and battles over books, they build an unbreakable bond.
