"Dis/Representation: Reading Into Disability" 8/10 - interpreted reading

*
Disability Art and Culture Project presents

"Dis/Representation: Reading Into Disability
with author William L. Alton

Loss and love often go hand in hand. You love your family, your friends, your partners, but relationships are fluid. They come and go. Everything has its cycle and comes to an end.

Author William L. Alton will be reading from his new chapbook, "Drowning is a Slow Business". The chapbook deals with relationships and mental illness. Each poem is a story told in its own right. Discussion following the reading.

The reading and discussion will be interpreted.

DATE: August 10th, 2013
TIME: 2:00 - 3:15 pm
LOCATION: In Other Words Feminist Community Center, 14 NE Killingsworth St., Portland, OR  (on bus lines 44 and 72)
